And HERE is Chupika! She is an Aussie .38 granddaughter on the top and an El R Peruvian Luciano granddaughter on the bottom.. Got some GREAT grey genetics here! She had an EL Dorado Burning Man male cria - who won Bred & Owned Best at the 2019 California Classic with a SUPER bright fleece. She was rebreed to Accoyo Manchu cause re REALLY liked what he did with her dam Cungasca... Both girls are bred to Manchu so it will be really fun to see what mother and daughter produce out of a sire with killer fleece! Sad for us that Chupikas dam passed away recently, this was her LAST daughter... and the Manchu daughter she produced, is Manchu's last daughter.. sad to see lines end.. but super happy I am keeping Chupika in my Appy breeding program, with Luciano as a granddad, its highly likely she carries the appy gene, we will see! She delivered a wonderful spotty boy in 2020 and is rebred to the amazing Rare Gem Xman AND WOW we got an amazing Harlequin girl whose fleece WON the grey color championship at Nationals 2023! Now who to breed her to next!! We will see! Color typed Ee a1a2 Chupika has some pretty nice epd's too.

Manchu Granddaughter, but El R Peruvian Great Granddaughter, finally something my mother always wanted... a Manchu Luciano cross!! AND the appy gene from Luciano popped thru on her dam and carried thru to her. She is Beige with LF spots, Sire has a lot of famous relatives up his tree, but hey I am more excited about having Manchu 's lines in an appy breeding program!! Her first cria was a girl out of Crescent Moon Skeeter.. stunning fleece (she sheared 5.2lbs on her end fleece!) AND a SPOT!!.. we will start her in our appy breeding program fall 2025. Next up is a cria out of Rare Gem X Man..And we got SPOTs! Starz R Out Tnite!! Roar had ANOTHER spotty girl out of Camo - we are keeping this cria in our breeding program. Sells with a rebreed to Camo spring of 2026. Color Typed as Ee AA

Heather did well for us, but now she is no longer getting pg, so she is selling as a pet. One of her granddaughters is staying in our herd. APPY!!!!! Manchu daughter, Luciano grand daughter! Light Fawn with medium fawn spots! Her spots did not show up until her 3rd shearing. No grey, so not harlequin. But what a pedigree and ALL her HAD SPOTS! Color Typed as Ee a1a2

WOW oh WOW.. 2 YEARS in a row, A fleece and then B fleece... AOA Grey Female Fleece COLOR Champion!! Now bred to Snowmass Sizzlin Legacy XX for a Sept cria... I have loved this cria since she was born.. she was featured on the Cover of the Alpacas Magazine, Spring 2023.. she was color typed Ee a1a2 Can't wait to have many crias with her. ooooo the decisions on who to breed her to...

Iron is back in our pastures for semi retirement.. we will have from time to time progeny and potentially bred females for sale. One of his female offspring we kept in our breeding program is the dam of the 2023 AOA Grey Fleece Color Champion.. AND she is Harlequin.. so we thought maybe we should eek a few more cria out.. inquiries welcome. 2015 Histograms just in! AFD 24.7 SD 4.5 CV 18.1 CV 89.7 Curve 36.4 at FIVE YEARS OLD!!! What can I say - when Dee Sousa ran up to me at the bar at the 2011 Futurity and said "wanna go in on Iron!!!" how could I say NO... and so the story began - we had the winning bid and we took this little weanling home with us. His full sister sold that day for over $80,000.... we KNEW we had a winner - we just had to wait while he grew up. And grow up he did - winning a number of championships along the way including a sweep at IAO 2012 winning the Grey Male COMMERCIAL Halter Championship and Reserve Grey Male COTTAGE Fleece Championship - A fleece good for BOTH divisions!! And THIS YEAR SPINNERS DREAM IAO 2013 - The top award in the Cottage Fleece division! So yeah - he has WON a whole rack of ribbons for us, but really? What I am excited about is his fantastic fineness and the consistency of that fineness thru out his fleece and colored fibers - they are ALL fine... beautiful hand, stocky bone, BEST HEAD IAO 2011!! so yeah - really nice head too.. and all that color... and all those ever so famous ancestors - what a pedigree this boy has - very deep - very proven.. I simply can't wait to get MY first offspring on the ground - he is going to ROCK our colored huacaya breeding program. Check out his pedigree, look over his winnings.. if you had a chance to get look at his fleece while he was on our show string! Well you KNOW its good. We have 2 of his offspring in our foundation APPY herd. He is listed for sale for the first time! Since we are only breeding for APPY now in our huacayas.

COLOR GTYPE EeAa2 - exactly the genotype you want for fully expressed Appy! Sire was Ee a2a1; Dam Ee a1a2 Fleece GRADE 2, IFA under Amanda VandenBosch. Total Score 77.5 - Uniformity 12/15 both machine and visual. 2025 Shearing - blanket weight 5.5lbs!! He has a nice summer fleece show run! Calpaca Extravaganza, scored 8.5 for Uniformity of Micron and 8.5 for Character Crimp.. a total score of 74.. a reminder that Multis get zero points for color, so assuming they did score for color, his total score would rise to 79! He lost 1st place to a super nice Roan.. (color classed in 2024 as Indefinite) His FULL Harlequin sister has won the Grey AOA Female Fleece Color Championship 2 YEARS IN A ROW!! STELLAR Genetics.. Mo has been color typed Ee Aa2.. his blanket is a lovely expression of a traditional Appaloosa, good expression of spots - holding excellent expression of crimp from skin to tip, beautiful brightness, AFD 22, on a robust frame with a pleasing head. If you want to add an up and coming Appy boy to your show team and later to your breeding program.. Mo is your guy! He certainly carries the genetics!

Great Pedigree, Nice easy personality, LOVELY head, good solid frame, great bone, excellant fleece characteristics.. We think she will be a great fit for an appy breeding program. Cause, WELL!!! She was supposed to be Appy! We DID get ONE SPOT... she has color typed as eeAa2, SO we think if we find her a nice Ee a1a2 to breed her to down the road she will fulfill the promise of SPOTS! Essy did quite well on her first outing this show season winning 3 first place awards. SHE has a REALLY nice fleece - HECK she sheared a 5.2lb blanket for 2025!! We will be showing that fleece this summer (2025). Essy is confirmed pregnant to Rare Gem Camouflage for an appy cria!!

After a slew of lovely crias, Lil and her sister Liv are retiring. At 16 years old we feel she earned her retirement. Liv just weaned her last cria for us. Liv has an excellent body score, maintains her weight easily. Loves apples and carrots! We don't plan to rebreed her. Liv and Lillibret (full sisters) were selected specifically for their EPD's, their super solid frames, lovely heads, FLEECE and pedigree to breed with our new co-owned super star stud Ice Kings Poseidon.. I can't WAIT for these crias!

After a slew of lovely crias, Lil and her sister Liv are retiring. At 15 years old we feel she earned her retirement. Lil has an excellent body score, maintains her weight easily. Loves apples and carrots! We don't plan to rebreed her. Lillibret and her full sister Liv were selected on pedigree, epds, phenotype to breed to our top suri studs. Her first cria out of Poseidon was a lovely Pinto!! Color Champion fleece a number of times! and 2023 Top Ten High point fleece winner! Her 2nd cria out of Accoyo Chaska was beige, again a multi color champion fleece and still in my breeding program, and was ALSO a 2023 Top Ten High point fleece winner!. WOW now THAT is a produce of Dam! She is currently bred to Joseph's Ephraim.. can not WAIT for that cria!

Sweet Sista Mine was born on my sisters birthday! She is just the most elegant suri! Amanda V called her the epitome of a suri alpaca at the Gold County Gathering where she won Bred & Owned Best Suri Female. Her dam, a Chaska daughter died suddenly this winter, so Sista is taking her place in our Foundation herd. Her first cria was a stunning fawn out of Derwydd Accoyo Knight.. several champs under her belt and now along with her mum Sista is bred to Rogue Suri's Phoenix.. can't WAIT to see what the mom and daughter duo produce for me.. "Poseidon's Eye of the Tiger" just took the White Male Color Championship at the 2023 National Show - 17 total in the class. Most all of Poseidon's offspring that are showing in 2023 AND 2024 have taken either a 1st place, Reserve Champion or a Championship!!!! Thank you to all of the owners of these fine alpacas in believing in his breeding program!!!! WHEN WE WERE LOOKING FOR LIGHT HERDSIRES TO BREED TO WE DISCOVERED ICE KING'S POSEIDON OF TSSS LOCATED AT PUCARA STUD. WE HAD BEEN LOOKING FOR A HERDSIRE WITH THESE LINES, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY THE DAM IS PURESURI MANDALAY FROM SILKWORM. AND HIS SIRE IS THE FAMOUS PUCARA PURESURI TIKANUI'S ICE KING WHO WE HAD SEEN AT MANY SHOWS. WE WERE SO EXCITED WHEN POSEIDON BECAME AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE. THANK YOU TO HIS FORMER OWNERS, PUCARA INTERNATIONAL STUD AND HASSELBRING'S HARMONY RANCH FOR THIS WONDERFUL OPPORTUNITY. WE NOW PROUDLY CO-OWN THIS HERDSIRE WITH SCOTT AND LAURIE FINDLAY FROM ALPACAS OF EL DORADO!!! He has thrown a number of champion offspring! In white thru brown! Super long well defined lock and oodles of luster on his progeny. Add a Poseidon cria to your pasture!! Breedings avail in CA at Alpacas of El Dorado, bred females and progeny available at Derwydd and Alpacas of El Dorado.

We are excited to add the infamous Eagle Valley Spirit Dancer to our herdsire row. He is a a multi-champion male who has produced many champion offspring, including our own Wyndd Dancer. His fiber stats support his champion reputation with his top 1% EPD traits and amazing histograms all the way to nine years of age. In addition to his fineness and uniformity, Spirit Dancer’s skin biopsy done in 2021 shows a follicle density of 64.5. All in all, outstanding fiber traits he has retained as he ages. Spirit Dancer is a well formed male with excellent conformation and is easy to handle. All positive traits we look for in a breeding male. He is closed to outside breedings.

“Manifest Destiny” In the alpaca world, that means an outstanding pedigree that translates into outstanding heritable traits (EPDs) and progeny. Little Providence Josefs Ephraim embodies “Manifest Destiny”—he is a son of the incredible Big Timber Kahuna’s Josef, and his dam is a champion with enviable bloodlines. Both sire and dam have outstanding EPDs, so why shouldn’t Ephraim have EPDs in the top 1% to 10% in EVERY category? And why shouldn’t he have multiple Color Championships in both Walking Fleece AND Halter? …And why wouldn't you want him to pass these heritable traits on to your herd??!! Density, fineness, locking and luster! This male has it all, and has the capacity to pass these traits on to his progeny. Ephraim sire is the incredible Big Timber Josef, who has countless championships and champion crias. Josef is a son of the legendary Pucara Kahuna: for many years the star of the famed Pucara herdsire lineup. Ephraim's dam is also a champion out of multi champion Accoyo Chaska and brings in genetics from Apache II , Uribe, Bruxo, and Mallory Jane. Take a look at Ephraim's show record--he has excelled in BOTH walking fleece and halter categories, with several championships in each! He clearly has an all-star profile that you want represented in your herd! Here is a list of his winning progeny across several farms.. demonstrating his ability to pass those desired traits: density, fineness, locking and luster! And solid frames with big bone.
